Roubaix (French pronunciation: [ʁu.bɛ]; Dutch Robaais, sometimes also called Robeke, although Robaais is the only correct translation according to the Dutch Language Union) is a commune in the Nord department in northern France. It is located between the cities of Lille and Tourcoing.
