In French Bibliothèque nationale du Togo.

Founded in 1969, nine years after the independence of this former French colony, it is located in a modern building on Avenue de la Victoire, one of the major arteries of the city of Lomé, the capital of the country.

In addition to numerous books dealing with the most diverse subjects, it keeps in its archives collections dating from the German and French colonial periods. In the course of the 1990s the national library was enriched by an additional fund of 18,000 volumes.
